Teens Helping Teensco-founder, Savannah Prenger spent 3 years building the 501 (c) (3) non profit in Nevada, along with her sister Siena, who at 15 now runs daily operations at home. They then began the national movement in 2014 with a visit to Washington D.C., and expanded into Missouri, and then California. Savannah is now fulfilling her dream as a student at Vanderbilt University studying Human Organization Development, it is only natural that she bring her passion to fight for at risk youth, to the area! When research revealed the shocking number of vulnerable teens needing support, we went to work finding resources for them. Our experience in other cities reminds us that many more privileged and stable teens greatly outnumber the at risk and are just waiting to learn how to make a difference in the lives of their struggling peers. We are so happy to find that this beautiful and vibrant community has many great programs in place and and we are excited to partner with them. Time to get busy bringing awareness, advocating, motivating and building a network of teens to support these youth through temporary crisis and through the steps to a higher education that will change their futures.
Lets work together to build a brighter future for so many.
