We are trying desperately to move out of our garage and into a mobil distribution center to get urgent items out onto the streets faster and with more efficiency. Stocked by size and item type. Hygiene kits, blankets, foods, survival gear, etc.

For myself, I cannot believe it is less then 3 weeks until I go back to college. So much to do to help prepae our homeless and at risk youth for their own back to school day. Sometimes school is the only safe and good place for them. They have access to food, a bathroom, adults who care about them and in many cases, look out for them. They also face a lot of bullying since other kids don't understand why they are dirty, or dressed poorly. This is our biggest challenge, trying to bring awareness to teens, of the plights many of their brothers and sisters face. NOT TO JUDGE, NOT TO BULLY, but to have a heart that wants to understand and to help lift their sisters and brothers up who are in need. We not only need a lot of packpacks, school supplies, and emergency non perishable foods to stock those packpacks to help the afterschool and weekend hunger. PLEASE help us spread the word, NOT TO JUDGE, NOT TO BULLY, TO be compassionate and kind to your peers and to remember, that you don't know a thing about them until you have walked a mile in there shoes or barefoot in many of their cases! HELP us HELP THEM... Donate a packpack, some supplies or food but most importantly DONATE A SMILE... The gift that keeps on giving. Donate a pat on the back, Donate understanding, patience and compassion for your peers. It could change their day, their world, their lives.

What a great success our holiday projects were and we reached alot of teens. The needs come all year though and we already have hungry teens again. Keep the blanket making parties going and keep gathering the backpack foods so we can keep these kids healthy and warm. THANK YOU ALL!!!

Brrrr. It's getting cold. I saw a homeless boy curled up under the freeway overpass the other day. It was the sloped type of wall and I don't know how he was balancing himself there and sleeping! He wore a tshirt and ragged jeans. I was cold inside of the car. There are over 7000 teens like him on our streets and temps are goint to hit 30's and 40's in the next few days. PLEASE consider donating your beanies, scarves, mittens, coats, or join our blanket making events. 2 yards of fleece is all you need, and a little heart.

Me, Ellie, Michael and Siena are visiting Nevada Partnership For Homeless Youth intake center on Shirley drive this Wednesday. They run out of food and water ever single day for all of the homeless teens that come in because they are hungry. This week they asked for bread, water and individually wrapped snack food, like granola bars, peanut butter crackers, etc. PLEASE help. I will pick up or you can join us for our visit. Let me know. email me at [email protected] or just text me at 610-5485.
